NASA Crew and Thermal Systems Division engineer Heather Paul answers questions from 6th grade students at East Paulding Middle School in Dallas, Georgia during a NASA Digital Learning Network (DLN) interactive broadcast.

NASA DLN broadcasts are connecting students around the country with the live mission operations being conducted by the International Space Station Flight Control Team. ISS flight controllers, astronauts and scientists answer student's questions about living and working in space, how the Houston mission control center operates, and a wealth of other topics related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

It's hydrogen and oxygen, I think often hydrogen peroxide(stuff next to rubbing alcohol) is separated to hydrogen and oxygen. You see, when they're mixed they cause a exothermic reaction(release heat), but the "exhaust" is nothing more than water, regular water because the hydrogen tank is twice as big as the oxygen tank and it turns into H2O.

I understand what Heather is trying to say during the two minutes... But the moon does have an atmosphere. NASA just spent $263 million to study it with the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE).

i go to east paulding middle school i could of talked with nasa but i didnt have all exeeding classes
