This was so awesome and super inspiring! I have dreamed of becoming an engineer at JPL since I was six and have a HUGE passion for all things related to astronomy and aerospace. This fall I get to start college for an engineering degree with almost a full scholarship! I know it's an EXTREMELY long and difficult journey, but I believe if I work and study hard enough I might just find myself there someday. Thank you to all the female engineers that have ever worked at NASA! You have really inspired me and helped me to know that my goals are possible to achieve. 🚀🌙

Its honestly inspiring to hear the beginnings of someone in the field I want to be in that isn't a perfect, pre-dedicated journey. I've always felt incredibly intimidated by the idea of working for NASA, despite how fasinating and incredible it sounds to be a part of it. This certainly helps me to feel more capable of tackling whatever difficulties I might face :)

This must be so easy, it’s not like it’s rocket science

So much diversity. No wonder NASA can’t launch a rocket.

Hey I'm a senior at FSU majoring in mechanical engineering and I'll be graduating fall 2020. I've never been a lecture, quiz, test kind of guy so I don't have the greatest GPA but I'm a quick learner and have won several Engineering design competitions. How do you suggest getting my resume to someone up top when it is initially filtered by GPA from the start?

So happy to see this! It's so important to emphasize the diverse positions and means of achieving them. Tracy is so humble and inspiring. It's refreshing to hear her honest and transparent experience about these engineering roles. I feel that often industry experts tend to put up a facade that they know everything in fear of losing face. In actuality showing a sense of humility and persistence to learn show's much more strength. You can feel this type of energy radiating from Tracy. Truly an inspiration! Thank you for sharing.
