mind-blowingly simple way of explaining otherwise such complex concepts - the transformation from row space to column space discussion was amazingly intuitive. Thanks a ton and now planning to see all the remaining lectures.

I think at 46:40 the explanation for a rank 1 matrix should be that the columns of the resulting matrix are just scaler multiples of the first column. Hence the dimension of the column space is 1.

Camera man has done a bad job. When speaker tries to explain something on the board, the focus is still on the speaker.

Brilliant lecture. I love the mathematical intuitions rather than jumping head first into neural nets. I would recommend playing at 1.25x speed though. Any chance we can get our hands on the homeworks / assignments with solutions?

Great Lecture. One question in last part 1:44:30, why we are getting only ellipsoid output for sphere shape input, not any other shape? Does it have to do something with the assumption of A being symmetric?

Is there a specific relationship between column space of a matrix and number of eigen vectors? Can the latter be greater than the former?

Is there a relationship between rank, columnspace and eigenspace?
