One of the best certifications offered by Coursera is the Machine Learning Specialization
People claim to have gotten a job with this online certificate alone, which is pretty mind-blowing.

But is a Machine Learning Specialization really worth it?

That will be the topic of today’s video

Enjoy!

I would suggest taking this one and the MLOPs specialization and then grab a cloud ML certification to go with the projects like the GCP Machine Learning cert and tensorflow cert

Great information Shane, should supply chain management majors pursue this certification in hopes to merge into machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Finished the first course in 2 weeks. Could have been 3 days if that was all I did. Videos on 2x with subtitles. Took my time with the notebooks to understand the math and code. Already working in software development for 3 years for reference.

The demand for this role will continue to grow, so a 10 is needed here

What happens if I finish the course during the 7 days free-trial?There are courses I want to take that are less than 60 hours that I can do in a week comfortably.

You can cover weeks in a day, that doesn't mean you should.
I usually follow their pace and do extra bit of research myself everyday on the topics itself.

30 hours is what you need to completely understand the course if you dont know anything from the start. 50 If you have to learn Prerequisits like Matplotlib/Numpy/Calc/Linear Alg.

Is computer science degree still worth it ?I mean it has 7. Something unemployment rate.

I have heard for this course you should have a strong foundation in Linear Algebra which is harder than Calculus 3. Is this true you need Linear Algebra? Also, would I have absolutely no chance realistically to get a job after getting an online professional certification along with other selected self teaching? Are pretty much everybody who gets the job people who studied this at a University?

Speaking of AI, Chat GPT is useful for beasting through online school work so you can spend time learning more useful things instead of out dated curriculum or general ed BS, no need to waste brain energy on retaining useless information.

I'm currently unemployed but have an Engineering Degree(not related to CS or Software). I adore ML Engineering. I'm pretty sure I can get my skills sharpened one day. But I'm confused. If it'll take me at least 3 to 6 months to land a job, I'm doomed. Is there a smaller stepping stone I can step on that isn't a time waste is leading me to the direction of ML Engineering?
Or do I have to resort to my old career or any other irrelevant job to keep myself going?

Is coding a mandatory prerequisite to this course? or can you learn as you go?

I completed the course, it is great at teaching the fundamentals but its essantially a math class disguised as programming. Overall I learned a lot, but a lot of math. I was expecting more programming.

Hello
Can you suggest me a good AI ML course on coursera which can be done in C++ as I'm not that comfortable in python?
