Brig. Gen. Jose Periera of Brazil, commander of air force operations until 2005, reports on an 'array of UFOs' observed over his country in 1986. Two pilots chased one of the objects for 30 minutes. Numerous other pilots saw the objects. Radar recorded them. Six jets were scrambled from two Brazilian air force bases to pursue them. Some of the pilots made visual contact corresponding to radar registrations. Both military and commercial pilots were involved. Onboard as well as ground radar systems confirmed the presence of the objects.

“'We have the correlation of independent readings from different sources, ' Periera writes. 'These data have nothing to do with human eyes. When, along with the radar, a pilot‘s pair of eyes sees that same thing, and then another pilot‘s, and so on, the incident has real credibility and stands on a solid foundation.'”

Dude, let me tell you something... More than a decade ago I helped an UFO group here in Brazil. I wasn't the only, neither the first skeptic to work with them. (With picture analysis, video analysis, monitoring their community on Orkut... And so on.)
Either way... I never found anything alien. I learned a lot about humans, but not aliens... And I saw plenty of craziness... Madness even.
Still, there's one case I cannot refute and never saw anyone doing it either... It was the called "official UFO night". Objects were detected by radar, spotted by civilian pilots and even military jets were sent... And could observe them as well. The next day the Brazilian government, which was a dictatorship at the time, called the press and told everything that happened.
Atmospheric phenomena? Perhaps, I don't know... But I think it's more than time to science put its eyes in events like that.

People please calm the hell down and actually read the paper.

All the paper was intended to do was, and I quote: "derive physical constraints on interpretations of “highly maneuverable” Unidentified Aerial Phe nomena (UAP) based on standard physics and known forms of matter and radiation." and "This paper aims to constrain one aspect of the UAP hypothesis with parameters that govern the movement and interaction of a UAP with Earth’s atmosphere to eliminate or bound observational uncertainties".

They are not talking about any particular instances of UAPs that the found qualify as ET. They are not making any claims about the likeliness of this for past observations, and they most certainly did not *announce* in this paper that "we may not be alone" with any certainty. They clearly stated that they "do not know".

This is dishonest journalism. This is a dishonest video. I'm unsubscribing because AA has clearly decided that clickbait appealing to the alien obsessed audience gets him more views than respecting the actual science being done here to make progress on this question.

Hey Angry, I was raised in the desert of Southern California in a place called Holtville. It's 50 miles west of Yuma Arizona. The sky's were pretty clear back in those days and my Dad and brother Steven and I would go out into the desert and look up. We would do this for hours and every so often we would see things in the sky.

We had the El Centro Navy base and they did a lot of testing for the space program and people would say that was what we were seeing. I don't know of any aircraft that we had in the 50's that could make a dead stop in mid air and take off into a different direction. They could set still in mid air and only helicopters could do that but a helicopter could not take off as fast. Was it a UFO? I don't know but I think so.

Boca Chica, as a 7.5 mile stretch of sun, sand, and surf has been severely cut off from public use. There is only one road from Brownsville to the beach at Boca Chica. This road runs through the complex of Space X. The local politicians were told (misled) that the need to close the road would occur only once a month, or when a launch was scheduled. I get a text (courtesy of Cameron county) when Boca Chica beach is closed and when it reopens. I have seen the closure happen four to five days in a row for almost the full day.
