The way she’s talking about no hugs and stuff hits close to home. My heart is inside my chest yes but I have congenital heart disease and I could literally be killed by a random sneeze. Because any sudden beat in my heart could kill me. So like I can’t have a jump scare either

As someone who's both neurodivergent and absolutely adores hugs (though only with people who I'm comfortable with, like familly or friends) such a condition would unimaginably aweful.
Though I can also understand his perspective, as I'm really uncomfortable with hugging anyone I'm not close to, and sometimes crowds just suck.

I absolutely loved this show because I feel like it’s one of the rare times when autism is properly represented in media. I feel like a lot of the times it’s very poorly represented.

I had a cousin who had this! He also had several other disabilities and birth defects. Like his spine was outside his back. Due to the several medical issues he had he passed in 2014. He was 17 I think. I don’t remember that much about him bc they lived far away and due to everything he couldn’t be around too many people for his safety

I relate with Murphy: Don't like crowds (overstimulated), hugs make me feel trapped (when I don't want them) and that sort of things are my special interest 😂

My daughter is a hugging machine. When CODVID started she was 11 and I was so worried. When people were release from the CODVID she returned to hugging but some kids bullied her at school and that is over. Now she wants to hug me constantly. I want to cry sometimes.

This girl seems to actually have Spina Balfida, it's usually on a babies back or spine. If it was to move it can break the spine and cause for u to break ur back or even die, and infact it's on her stomach which is unusual also.. Im pretty sure she just had Spina Balfida there is no cure for it really, cause she can be killed within 2 minutes of the surgery.. Too risky for once Shaun may not be able to help this patient.

Edit1; Actually, if her heart grows on the outside.. She indeed cannot hug anyone, she can pressure her heart ad possibly kill herself. I don't even know how they will manage to move her heart back to the top without letting her die from a cut of oxygen. The lung indeed give oxygen but the heart pumps the blood to the lung and liver so it's possible she might die- overall 50/50 chance more of a 30/70.. It's impossible to heal this girl without really....hurting her in any way..
