Looks good. Hard to beat a pendulum spreader IMHO. I have a hopper extension for my Kubota/Vicon spreader that will allow 1 ton bags and just received their fine application kit that closes two of the 3 opening in the bottom of the spreader. The benefit is you can spread seed or light applications of fertilizer, ie nitrogen after first hay cuttings. Shutting off 2 of the 3 holes allows for a lower rate, but with a much larger (one hole) opening at the bottom with less likelihood to clog - something you might want to check into. Nice spreader!

Hey man, good description of the 2 kinds of spreaders. I have a pull type spreader for ATVs that is 12 years old. I recently had to replace the veins on the disk. You should get yourself some fluid film. Everytime you get done with it, clean it up then coat it with the film. No rust

As I said in the last one, don't think I have ever seen one of those, but I sure do like it!! That's hard to believe after your guard it still got it on you! But I am right with you on it, couldn't stand that myself. I know the cost is higher, but never understood why they didn't use stainless years ago on the smaller come spreaders. Thank you for the comparison, and your opinions!! Look fwd to more my friend!!!

Never used a pendulum spreader, but can definitely understand the pro's VS the spinner. My COSMO spreader also spreads it on me and the tractor pretty bad! Lol

For fertilizer I could see how's that's better, for seed I'd say a cone spreader is better
