The British equivalent of Barge contact adhesive is Evo-stik. It's made in Stafford, nearby where I come from. I used it to do all the upholstery on my kit car. The German equivalent is made by Patted, but as they make a lot of different glues, I'll have to research the actual type.

One Of the best Canadian adhesives is LePage.

I use weldwood contact cement because it is fast drying

The good alternative to "Barge" cement is "Pattex" (called "Moment" in some countries), at least where I live. I remember my grandpa using it since forever.
