Android Auto Is NOT GOOD!

In this short, I will be telling you guys why I hate android auto and why I think it needs an update.

I drove my friends 2023 Nissan Sentra SR, and plugged in my phone and Android Auto worked great, don't know what kind of problem you have.

Either your vehicle needs an update or it's older? Bc mine s23 Android auto works with typing on the phone

Your iPhone is connected to car via cable. Do the same with Galaxy S23 Ultra. Afer that it will work ;-)

People hate on Android for no reason lol I have a 13 year old Ford Focus with an aftermarket head unit and Android Auto works perfectly fine and I've never had any issues

Do you see the little microphone down in the corner of the screen? You don't need to type in the address. Just press the little microphone and speak it. It's safer than typing in your phone while driving. I believe that's the point

Not my experience. Maps works exactly how you expect it to. No lag and there was a new interface recently.

The lag is your car
The no Samsung apps is because Samsung didn’t optimize them for android auto
The maps search problem is gone ( I think it was from Samsung limiting you)

Its worked great for me when i had to tow a trailer to port Aransas everyday . Of course our GMC sierra for work is hooked up to a wirless android auto and i can type it in via phone with no issues.

I don't know what I did different, but on my S23U I can open Maps while using Android Auto.

That’s why most users tend to lean towards Apple, because there software is well optimized, refined and it works.

Just want to say there's been a button for that for ages. But it's on the Android Auto keyboard, when you tap it the keyboard on your phone pops up. It just kinda discreet glaf they've seemingly updated it 😅

This is a Samsung thing. My Pixel works just as my iPhone allowing to use maps on my phone while connected to Android Auto😊

What are you talking about. Plug it in just like you do your carplay and it works flawlessly. In fact if you look at a couple of other videos comparing the two with the new Android auto it actually works better. I don't understand people make videos and I don't know what to talking about.

Google recently updated Android Auto and now allows you to use google maps while plugged in before this update I'd experience the same issue explained in this video. They're definitely behind Apple Carplay. With the recent updates and planned updates they're catching up to Carplay.
