Watch This Before You See Candyman

The new Candyman movie may indeed be the fourth installment of the horror franchise, but in many ways, it's the movie fans have been waiting for since the release of the first film back in 1992. And boy, have they been waiting. Originally slated for release in June 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed the release date back repeatedly. But it does seem that the Nia DaCosta-directed flick will finally hit theaters August 27, 2021.

For the uninitiated, the Candyman films tell the story of a terrifying urban legend who can be summoned by saying his name repeatedly into a mirror. Embedded in that horror tale are themes of race, class, and gentrification in Chicago. What else do you need to know going in? Watch this before you see Candyman.

😱😱😳😳 I've seen the trailer in the theater and I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie. Jordan Peele hasn't disappointed yet and I'm sure this movie will also deliver. I'm also hoping he has a haunted house at Halloween Horror Night, Universal Studios Orlando this year..the US haunted house was great, a Candyman house would be Awesome 😃😱👻😀👍
****UPDATE****Saw this movie on Wednesday (9/1/01) Just like I said Jordan Peele DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This movie was Awesome. I'm definitely going to watch a couple more times. I watched the movie US, 3 times ..2nd time I saw things missed the first time and the 3rd time I watched it before going to Halloween Horror Night 🌙.

I just wanna know why Jordan Peeple change Candyman background story. Candyman was a slave artist that was dating a young white women and was killed by a lynch mob for it.

The fourth film has been stuck in Development hell since 2004 I believe at it was candyman vs leprechaun then candyman was be set in the winter snow it would’ve be set at women’s college and ignores candyman 3 day of dead but those films never happened but it got changed in 2018 when Jordan peele and his team came on board.
