Imagine - Growing up in an Orthodox Jewish community in Manchester, England. Indoctrinated to be an Orthodox Jew, same as Ben Shapiro.
Imagine - Growing up just 30 miles from where John Lennon was born and raised, and never hearing about him or the Beatles until I was 18.
Imagine - How ones family and community control you in such a way, as to isolate you from you surrounding 'gentile' community and culture.
Imagine - How isolated you are from you're surrounding, that although growing up in Manchester I barely knew anything about local things such as football (soccer), music scene. or history.
Imagine - Growing up in Manchester not knowing that Friedrich Engels and Karl Marx, visited the city in 1845 to conduct much of their research into poverty and social conditions, fuelling their original take on how society could be reorganised, Their work resulted in some of the most influential political books ever written, including 'The Condition of the Working Class in England', and the later and better-known 'Manifesto of the Communist Party'.
Imagine - Being disowned by your family and community, after telling them you stopped believing in god (AKA Jehovah), that you want to live a modern secular life, go you uni etc...
Now - don't imagine, but understand why I stopped believing and became an I don't want to be associated with people like Shapiro....
