I walk to Arat kilo to have a great Ethiopian salad in a fruit house. It's midday, the fruit house is quite full, but I still decide to go on with my vlog, and I film... that was the wrong decision, some people are very pissed by my camera, and the whole food vlog is ruined.
Though, the aggressive interaction that resulted from the fact that I dared to film is very interesting.

After that, I walk to the market of shiro meda, talking about how Ethiopian people stare at my sandals and my shorts. The market is closed, so I finish the video by telling you the story of how the Eucalyptus tree was introduced in Ethiopia.

Désolé Yves, mais là non. Vous n'êtes pas sur la voie publique, vous êtes sur la terrasse d'un restaurant. Il ne s'agit pas de simples passants qui apparaissent furtivement, mais de clients qui sont attablés pour manger, et qui restent malgré eux presque en permanence dans le champ de votre caméra. D'après ce que je vois, vous n'avez même pas demandé la permission aux employés du restaurant, vous filmez d'office.
Si des clients ne veulent pas être filmés, il faut stopper, et non pas se lancer dans une polémique et encore moins avec des arguments moisis du genre "je filme, c'est mon job".

J'aime bien vos vidéos, mais parfois certaines séquences créent un sentiment de malaise, à cause de votre attitude qui n'est pas toujours adéquate.

Restaurant is a private property. It is not appropriate to film other people who are eating. You can film your food but not the people

I agree, not everyone wants to be filmed. I think they were being nice but just a-bit annoyed that they are eating and you are filming them. They didn’t want you to leave, but just ask permission. Also kids, I wouldn’t want my child filmed and then god knows what happens with that footage. I think it’s just polite to ask, especially if it’s a full restaurant.
