It’s almost like your specialty is baking and you knew what to do 😂

Guys they weren't listening to her because that was the point 😂 they were recreating the yakitate japan episode of the croissant, they HAD to burn it much to everyones dismay

Wait that’s just like yakitate Japan!!!! The whole point in the episode is that it burns and then he hits it and a beautiful brown croissant emerges from the centre!

Its so annoying how so many people are complaining why they didnt listen to her when they hired her. Like ut was a challenge they had to burn it.
But as a chef something you work on get experimented by others knowing it will be bad makes you feel emotional.

Thats like getting gordon ramsay to watch you only and you cook a monstrosity while they are complaining

I’m so glad you got over being emotional and the situation being so bad for you. Brave. Courageous.

The aggression in the word “burn” proves how heartbreaking this is

Literally that moment in Casino where Joe Pesci’s character is held down and has to watch his brother get murdered in front of him.

In hindsight it makes perfect sense that even food can have weird anime logic. They have to come up with plot twists for the underdogs somehow 🤔
Still love those shows but now I know to probably just use a cookbook when I want to make something lol

For context, an average classic french croissant has 55 layer( 27 are butter). My one question is HOW

So many people here never watched the actual episode and completely missed the point of the burnt bread 🙄

It wasn't a yakitate Japan reference... It was a yakitate jaPAIN

They should've made this like criminal documentation style. With her just being silhoutte answering the interview.

The croissant is my favorite bread so honestly I would have been pretty disappointed also.
