That poor boy, knowing the last thing he probably saw was his friends leaving him. I couldn't even imagine. When I heard "They left me." it broke my heart, he must've been so afraid. Please go back!

What a better time than to air this story right as the summer months are approaching!! Not only bringing us some new content & new stories but also making a PSA to watch out for sharks!

Thank you for bringing awareness to these brutal attacks. I hope that the spirits can rest in peace 🤍🤍

As someone who lives in Keyport/ Matawan, I’m shocked that you guys found people who don’t know of the attacks back in 1916. All the tales around here all suggest it was bull sharks as we’ve found them in these waters and the Raritan bay for the last few years. If you guys ever come back I’d love to meet you guys, big fans of both your paranormal series and Murder in America. Can rent kayaks in Keyport. Already looking forward to next weeks episode of the forest. Much love!

I remember Jaws being one of the first "horror" movies I ever watched as a child at my Pappy's house and it gave me nightmares for WEEKS

I grew up with these stories and the movie... The Jaws movie is one of the reasons Gen Xers are like "NOPE!" When having to swim in murky waters...😊

Did you know horseshoe crabs don't bite or sting the tail is actually just a tool to help them flip up right if flipped upside down. They do look spooky though 👻

The Cape is practically the shark capitol of New England, I’m gonna feel extra uncomfy at the beach after all of this 💀

You need to go to Rose Hill Cemetery in Matawan. That’s where Lester & Stanley are buried. Very haunted 👻

I'm a huge fan of the jaws films and I knew it was based off real events, but I didnt realise how similar the attacks were to the attacks they put in the film, it's very scary to think this happened.
Might of been a short video but the info you put in I found very interesting to hear and learn about because as Conner said, most people these days would forget about that brutal attack back in 1916, but thanks again colin for an epic video! 👍🦈

Oh my gosh!!! I was a beach haven lifeguard for 3 summers and I’ve actually stayed overnight at the museum which houses a lot of those artifacts

I read the book "I Survived: The Shark Attacks of 1916" when you were telling the story I was thinking back to many years ago I read a book that sounded very familiar to what you were talking about and its based on those events you talked about.

Aloha Colin & Connor! Nobody would expect a Shark in their favorite River swim spot, it must have been a nightmare. Research says that only Bullsharks can handle brackish water. Great investigation! 🦀 🦈

Oh no you're moving. I was hoping you would have done a fan meet up sometime. But I can't blame you. This city is dangerous. Safe travels to you and Courtney.
I loved this video. I never knew this story took place in Jersey. Very interesting story. Thanks for all your hard work Colin.

That's probably one of my biggest fears is the Ocean. This vid is an absolute nightmare of mine! I am terrified of the Ocean and even any Freshwater that I can't see through to the bottom. And I'm an avid fisherman... but there's just somethin about the vulnerable feeling that you get when you can't see what's swimming around underneath you! 😂 Just creeps me out!
