Change or reset the password of a user

Hi, i am an admin, when a person leaves the company i need to change their password because we need to keep the work emails. But lately when ever i change it it needs approval from the member. Something that we dont want. How can i do this? Thank you

This not working at all. I'm admin of business gmail workspace. After a person leaves, I want to keep some data from their previous email conversation. I followed this tutorial and guest what? NOTHING HAPPEN! I tried to login to the email using changed password and keep asking to contact ADMIN.
