I also have a short torso. I find a lot of high rise pants gets uncomfortably after awhile. Especially if I have to be sitting a lot!

Unpopular opinion but as a sucker for high rise I'mma say the high rise bc I like that silhouette and those pants look really nice on u. IMO they're also just nicer pants, not rlly a fan of the design/material on the white ones but that's just personal preference.
