In this video we will take a look at developing the concept of combinations and how they are related to permutations. Again, instead of giving you 100 examples on how to apply the formula for a combination, I spent some time developing how it is related to the formula for a permutation, which we learned in our last video.

Video Chapters:
Intro 0:00
Revising a Permutation 0:14
Relating a Permutation to a Combination 1:33
The Formula for Combinations 2:20
Using your TI-84 for Permutations and Combinations 4:13
Representations of Combinations and Two Identities 5:23
Powerball 8:30
Up Next 10:23

I want to express my gratitude for creating all these course videos. Currently, I am studying computational math, and we are tasked with learning Advanced Linear Algebra and Discrete Math within a tight 2-month timeframe. The extensive reading materials often prioritize precise definitions over facilitating understanding. Your videos have been instrumental in helping me grasp these concepts efficiently, saving me a significant amount of time. A heartfelt salute to you, the teacher!

I have a question! How to determine that whether to use permutation and combination? I always get panic once I get questions
