Hey DCA, just wanted to say thank you for all the work you, Thomas and Seth put in to bring us all these informative videos. Without these videos I wouldn’t know about so many awesome knives we have available to us. My wallet would probably be thicker without them, but my life would be much less exciting. Great job to all three of you and thank you all again!❤

The police 4 is the longest standing edc pocket knife I've ever happily stuck with, top tier performer, absolute gem

I agree with you. Great knives!! I always carry two knives. One Long blade and my little Swiss army tinker.

I have to throw in a tremendous recommendation for the K390 bladed Spyderco. I have the barely shorter Endura, but that K390 l is beyond incredible. It holds an edge and the toughness seems not too far off of 3V. I believe K390 is one of the very best blade steels ever.

Big Easy ... love it. This is one of my favorite categories. Thanks much for doing a vid on them! The Benchmade SOCP is one of my go to knives depending on the situation. One you didn't include that's very worth considering is the ZT 452cf. 4.1 inch blade with a titanium frame lock on one side and carbon fiber on the other. It's light, quick to deploy, very well built yet classy looking, and is my go to EDC.

I would also include the Civivi Praxis in this category, I recently got one with wood handles and it quickly became a favorite.

Al Mar eagle can be had at the mid and budget end of the price range. They're very thin and easy to carry yet have 4" blades

The Spyderco Yojumbo is a great big boy.

I agree with a lot of the choices here! I carry my Cold Steel Goldeneye sometimes, as well as the Bestech Swordfish! I still need a Code 4, and that Benchmade Auto fact. Great selection here!! I love big knives, but also value pocket space too.

Not sure if the Spyderco Stretch (straight spine) counts but it seems to be similar to this category and in K390 will be my next Spyderco purchase

My Big Easy knife would be my Grimsmo Norseman. Great size, light in the pocket and not chunky. Good video.

Here’s a cool idea for knife center, let fans submit ideas for knife center exclusives and choose five for production. My pick would be a Spyderco Salt PM2 with partial serrations and orange G10 handles.

$180 for a D2 blade. Only Benchmade would sell that knife at that price. Give me a K390 Spyderco any day of the week.

My "Big easy" is a Spyderco Endura. Slim, lightweight with a good sized blade available in a variety of different steels. Mine is a standard full flat grind in VG-10. Great for EDC, cooking prep or Save your life if you had to defend yourself...covers all the bases.

A great topic which was well done. Congratulations. I was thinking how the classic Spydercos still hold up after so many years. I love seeing new knives but there are a few oldies that compete as well as ever.
I would consider my Benchmade 940 to be in this category too as well as my Manix 2 lightweight.
That Police in K390 seems so useful. Over built knives don't do it for me. I know where I am in the Venn diagram.

Interesting genre. When I go big it's the Rat 1, it's as big as I carry. But some of these are worth looking into.

Artisan Cutlery makes some great “big” edc folding knives. I carry the Proponent most days. I also have that Benchmade SOCP in the original liner lock version. Both are great edc’s.

Some great stuff there! I'm always looking for EDC knives that are actually easy to carry. Can we get an episode with a big assortment of ultralight (2 oz or less) carry knives?
