I didn’t know the Fairchild existed till I watched Neeves Knives. That thing is sick. Jared, when you do got the padre you’ll love it, especially being Vanax and textured ti scales. Want the Stitch, can’t afford it right now. Great video Neeves Knives!

Gerber called it a Bolt Action lock. Back in the day, and I have one. Puny knives! The Cold Steel folding knives with Triad lock are very good knives. Blades from 4 to 7.5 inches long, yes folding knives. Plus they will not empty your back account to buy. My two favorites are the Voyager Drop Point with 4 inch blade, and the Voyager Clip Point with 5.5 inch blade. Both feather the triad lock and pocket clip. Thumb studs on both sides, so easy to open and close with one hand. All this new "Fancy" steel means very little to some one like me, who has been collecting knives since the mid 80's. Yes I bought some bad ones, but I've learned over the years. If a knife can take and hold a good edge, what more do you need.

Love my Vosteed Gator - the same model as the one you showed. I have many big folders, but the Gator is the most "cool" and "different" looking. The Civivi Sentinel Strike is also full-sized and Different but just too small... 😁

Thanks for the introduction of the Fairchild knife - I hadn’t seen it before seeing it on your video. I love it at first sight, especially the way when the blade opens, the thumb hole aligns perfectly with the slits carved into the handle. I love that it’s 9+” big. BUT, I’m retired and living on a pension, so a $320+ knife is something that will take some saving up for.

Yes finally a Stitch I can actually get my hands on WOO HOO BABY!! Hell there’s a lot of ohh yes please on display in this one Jerad but the Stitch. Now that they’re making it in a version I can get in the UK without getting myself thrown into jail over that’s just got me in happy feet mood. The Vosteed gator is badass I wish they made more of the shot show versions in titanium and s90v I wish I would’ve made the trip for just that knife I love that Vosteed is doing something different when everyone else is cloning the axis lock they went compression lock when everyone made tiny knives they made the gator hell they even made the grind which missed the mark because it wasn’t bigger but they innovate instead of following the pack.
