Man I got 5 Maxaces. And they are all wonderful. Just marvels of engineering. I also have the Ptilopsis 3.6". It has the Lee Williams Kick Stop flipper mechanism on it.

Just bought the Miguron Arma 2. Initially I thought it was just gonna be something to sit on a shelf as part of the collection. After getting it I was surprised to find out it’s actually something you could carry as a regular knife. It certainly isn’t the most practical option for an EDC but it’s so cool I’ll def make sure it gets in the rotation here and there

Agreed about the Manix 2 XL, phenomenal! I have much “fancier” and expensive folders but if it came down to only having one this is absolutely a top contender it’s that good imho.

Love big beautiful and functional knives, the Mannix 2 XL is definatly one that im interested in. On the Maxace one you might not damage the pin but the lock face geometry would take a big hit with any blows onto the back of the blade. If they wanted to make it even stronger I'd say find a way so the pin when inserted would take pressure off the lockface altogether. Love my cold steel blades for that reason as they can take abuse on the edge and the back of the blade with no problems. Beautiful knives but when think of XL knives I think of the Cold Steel Espada XL the Cold Steel Luzon Large or the Timber Rattler Giant folder and Monster Stilletto and the Fenris

Glad too see you had two Cold Steel folding knives. But they are puny when you compare them to like the Cold Steel Voyager Clip point XL, with the 5.5 inch blade, or the Rajah 2 XL from Cold steel, with the 6 inch blade. and let us not forget the monster of Cold Steel Folders. The Espada XL with a 7.5 inch blade, and yes, it fits in the pockets of the jeans I wear. Also, the Espada is the most expensive, the first two will cost under 100 dollars.

I can’t wait for the midsize Fairchild. I love that knife but it’s a tad bigger than I usually wanna carry. Just too wide. Kansept made a smaller button lock Shakari that looks cool too!

Great Video, I have to get one of those MaxAce Knives I love the look of the knife overall, I am also looking for a sharpening system. it's for me to use butit's primary function to teach some friends how to sharpen and up keep their new set of Kitchen knives, so somethine easy to use but diamond stones.
Thanks for the video it was the deciding factor in making up my mind on my 3rd knife.

I've had my Manix XL for about 8 or 9 years by now, it's still kicking on the stock spring and locks up solid even after wracking it against a 2×4 to see if it would break, still didn't make the lock budge or break any.

Spyderco Military is a nice large knife too. Not sure if its an xl or not, but the handle is fairly large some of the models in this video are much beefier.
