Nice haul. I'm in love with this 8 floppy drive card. It's a 1980s dream come true.

The first Mosfet on the page you ordered from, the IRLB3034 is exceptional, and my favorite for low-speed logic-level switching.
It has an Rds(on)=1.6mΩ @ 4.5V. This is a delicious when you want to drive high current loads without the need for a heatsink.
Perhaps not-so-hot if you are using PWM. Trenchfets/Hexfets tend to have a high gate capacitance, making them slow.
Oh, I like that gooey fine-stranded silicone wire.

Nice to see the esd protection they used for shipping the fets. Watch out for the insulation on the wire, used some that came in a box just like that this week and the iron tip went straight through it. Claimed to be silicone or similar but must be the low melting temperature type ;-)
For wire i just use 22swg 7 strand and buy it 100m reels slowly working up to having all ten colours. Plus red and black in 20swg for things taking a little more power.

Great channel. Word of advice on the mini toggle switches. Go real easy on the heat or you'll melt the body where the line goes in making it either shorted or open permanently. i use these regularly and some were so crappy I had to use flux and a heat sink to get it right .

The PS2 adapter should work as keyboards communicate over serial and so only physically different.

I just bought a used 3 1/2 usb floppy external drive. Tried it on Linux and it is a no go. Cost 3 dollars. But at least I get to take it apart now. May just find a lost loonie in it or something. If I find 3 of them then I broke even.
