As a lifelong Dodgers fan who spent 40+ years with Vin, I thought hearing his voice after his passing would make me sad, and on the day of, and right after his death it did. But now I'm thankful YT keeps putting these videos in my feed because now it's morphed into a joy of his memory and legacy. Godspeed, Mr. Scully, thank you for decades of happy memories!

With his retirement, an entire new generation of baseball fans will miss out on the history, reverence, and style that he brought to the game. I am thankful that we have the internet to preserve at least some of the games he called, and stories he shared with us.
