I wonder, Is there a “we must have sex on our wedding night” expectation? It seems that if the pressure was off to consummate your marriage immediately, and just spend some time being intimate, kissing, touching, exploring each other’s bodies, enjoying natural arousal, you would both be ready. Female arousal will provide the necessary lubrication to make intercourse more pleasurable for the woman. That is why so many couples don’t kiss before marriage sine that alone can lead to intense feelings and arousal. If couples would just take their time, and engage in foreplay, the act of intercourse would be more natural and less of an issue. So, could virgin couples just spend the first couple nights working up to the actual sex act? Or is it that important to do it in your wedding night? It seems like it would be more difficult to totally enjoy when you go from no physical intimacy, to an expectation of full on sex- like going from 0-100 mph and expecting satisfaction? Just a thought. Respectfully.
