Ok, I can safely say that this is an electric car I’m genuinely excited to drive!!! Looks like it’s handing incredibly well! The body control at 0:39 is superb, especially considering how much this thing weighs! watch tons of Nurburgring industry pool videos so I know for a fact this thing is hanging with some of the very best. Great video btw!

Edit: Just heard this put down a hand clocked time by witnesses of 7:13. Interested to hear the official times once that’s released.

Fun fact: the track oriented, 1020hp Plaid was almost 20(!) seconds slower on the ring than a stock 911 GT3 with 510hp. Tesla should stick to traffic light runs, not real racing.
