Miter Saw Station Finished

Di and I built this Miter Saw Center. It took on a life of its own. Made the Drawers custom sizes so I could store my clamps as well as all the items that were hanging on the wall. Next project has to be the Master Bedroom Closet. I had download plans from Jay Bates on YouTube and then modified them to fit my needs and the garages. Best watched in HD 1080

Well then this is the second. We are all proud of our work, and certainly you have a right to be. Excellent cabinet work and design. You have obviously mastered your video software. But how was this helpful to the person that watch's this video? If you want people to come back to your channel then there needs to be a meeting of shared expectation. Believe me as a forty plus your woodworker, I would have really liked to see the process and the build of this terrific miter station.

Love the miter saw station, are there any build videos that show how you did it step by step, or better yet do you have a material and cut list?

Nice miter station. I have a few questions I hope you don’t mind answering. First, how wide are the drawers in the lower left side of your station? Second did you use anything other than ordinary side mounted ball bearing glides? And third, have you had any problems with those wide drawers binging and not operating smoothly? I am looking to install 45-47 inch wide drawers on my rolling workbench to hold my longer clamps (not bar but the other varieties) but I might have to modify my plans if it can only be done with those expensive extra heavy duty glides. Thanks in advance for your answer.

It seems all the youtube videos are in super fast mode. That doesn't learn anybody anything, and that's what these videos used to do, back before everyone started doing the 2X and 3X. It has no purpose anymore. Sorry didn't mean to rant, but I like to learn how you do things, your process, hear your voice.

Sorry, but too fast in changing video scenes. I know, I know, many do it but it is really nothing but an ego trip. Oh indeed yes. Fancy video mixing with unlimited "effects" are as silly as a man overboard yelling for water.

It would have been MUCH more interesting and worthwhile if you had stuck to tried and proven ways of videoing. In other words, the old adage, 'Take time to smell the roses", is still wisdom supreme

Flame on as you wish. But I stand on it. Also, as an avid woodworker, I do NOT need to be dazzled with "footwork" and "music" to make something enjoyable. WHO needs it?

That video made me dizzy and gave me a stomach ache! Nice work on the station though....just need some work on your videos!

The crazy motion, insufficient focus, no time to enjoy what you are looking at, the inability to follow all make the viewer feel they have failed to see what is or is not being emphasized. It also gave 7 of 9 of us visual stim headaches. You shouldn't constanly keep things moving at caring speeds it over stims the vestibular system. It is motion illness for the eyes. It is the responsibility of the maker of a video to led, entice, and inspire their viewer. Educationally the video fails to follow basic learning domains. There is no real cognitive domain content, what were we supposed to learn? The psychomotor skills weren't even shown. You didn't teach us how to (fill in all the blanks). From the affective learning domain you did not get us to emotionally engage, to inspire us. You did quite the opposite. Those 3 learning domains are the basis for teaching, to show us what, how, and make us want to do likewise. The absence of spoken audio and a well reasoned train of thought is a major mistake. Unfortunately the background music matched the phrenetic undisciplined pace of the (aren't we worthy of a few of your words- diss) spastic slipped up slideshow. Next time give us the courtesy of explaining what you did and share your thoughts and insights rather than this (figure it out for your own dang self- it is not worth my time to bother) style diss of your own considerable (and we would much rather have you share) talents and ideas. It is your only Mulligan, if you do it again I will unsubscribe.
