I remember renting this movie with my Dad back in the day, watching it while he drank his beer and me with a virgin Coca Cola on the rocks... Funny how certain things stay in your mind. They used to play this on Disney Channel back in the day, and I really developed a soft spot for this movie as a little kid. I loved Doug E. Doug and John Candy, it was just such a sweet movie and a great story.

It’s been ages since I’ve watched this but have fond memories of it. Funny and heartfelt. Awww!!! I love this movie!! I remember there was a field trip to Saint Louis and my art class booked a super nice bus. We had our pick of movies we could watch on the little TV sets on the bus but this gem was the one everyone voted to watch. Always a good memory.
