💡QuinLED💡 12v SK6812 RGBW and 96LEDs/m in a Neon Rope Sleeve

Today we're taking a look at 2 different types of LED strip, the first is SK6812 RGBW but then in 12v, it turns out to be very interesting and has the lowest power usage of 12v addressable LED strips I have tested! Then we're also taking a look at a 5v addressable LED neon sleeve, this gives a great and diffused effect making a lot of patterns looks awesome! :D

I just ordered an SK6805 strip inside one of those silicone sleeves. It's total size is only 6mm × 6mm (0.24 inches), with 150leds/m! Excited for it to arrive!

Have to be a special sk6812 rgbw Led because the 8 legs. Regular 5volts sk6812 has 4 legs.

Really nice video and informative like always. I may ask something again? I love my quinled. But. I dont find the way that after I cut the power to it and powered back start in the same effect that was before cut the power off. With power off I mean cutting the power going to the quinled.

Good Morning... i plan to use some of your products, but i have small problem, INRUSH current into a motion sensor destroys the motion sensor, i need to figure out how to build inrush limiter. I may have to buy a complete LED motion sensor light assy and study its circuitry. BTW, i live in hot desert enviroment, summer over 100 degrees from 9am to 9pm, have to overbuild electronics, so it does not burn up. 12 volt is great for using an old PC power supply!!

I have a question seeing that you test different led strips. I am trying to replicate neon tube look. My application is for a 36 feet roof trim overhang 32 ft in front and each side 4 ft back (90 deg turn). I have seen aluminium channels with a frosted lens. Color selection is OK but I don;t need animation.
