Hopefully she goes ahead with the defamation lawsuit and brings the university to its knees.

If only we could pull a fast switch on SCOTUS for Ginsberg with Dr. Wax. A greater legal mind and an patriot.

It was as predictable as the sunrise: affirmative action would lead to admitting unqualified students to an institution they could not possibly succeed in. The solution of course would be eliminate objective assessments and replace them with equality of outcome.

Every statement this woman makes is true.

The impressive Professor Wax should not have had to go through her bad time at Penn Law, but the silver lining for so many has been her public appearances in person and on the net. More Amy is good for us - sad for what happened to her, but glad for this result.

I saw that conversation with Glen, I have come to hate what America has started to become. I don't think, if things continue, there will be anything left to save.

Love this woman and I'm a liberal, but a real one, not this new hysterical variety.

Wax is a National Treasure and should be held on a pedestal as a hero.

The NFL lacks diversity, doesn't it? So does the NBA. So does rap music.

Just a question- can she cite the data that shows that those benefiting from Assertive action are academically worse than those who do not benefit from such actions.

I have a question Amy.
What the hell happened to just this: That when you have what you have, whatever it is that you do have, you know that you have it for real, that you earned it fair and square. And that you can hold your head up without false pride and no that no-one can rightly deny your place, no matter how humble or extraordinary. What happened to that? Why are so many not taught this at primal ages and stages in life?

I believe Wax is featured in it. What Montz gets at is the reason administrators are taking over is that the mission of universities is changing. The source of the corruption is the university (with few exceptions) is no longer about educating future leaders. It's about becoming a diploma mill, and a country club. What Wax identified in her presentation on this at Harvard is that the Ivies have become huge HR departments for places like Wall Street, sorting out who can make it into those institutions. She said, in a sense, they don't really care that you learn anything, just that you can handle the workload. I've heard this for many years, actually, that this is what employers are really looking for when they put on want ads that they're seeking candidates with college degrees, that you can "gut it out" for 4 years.

Facts don't matter at a top law school. Wow. Much is explained about the state of the law in the USA today. Personally, I doubt if it can be fixed.

This isn’t intellectual progress. It’s complaining.
