Sprinter is moving the blocks a couple inches closer to the start line than the coach's instructions. Probably why he can't straighten his back.

Without a block start
Will the crouch start pick up speed earlier compared to someone just leaning before starting to run

Block placement hindering his zero step, let that hind foot go another finger length so he can lif his hips and get proper placement and his first step will be more efficient

Which side foot is the forward foot, how do you determine which foot is the front leg & what is the purpose?

I'm confused. The instructor emphasized pushing both heels against the blocks before starting, yet at the start the trailing leg heel is against the block but the forward heel is NOT against the block (4:02)...?

So I’m just doing track to get faster for football but I just can’t be humiliated by having a terrible start and getting smoked in races because of it. So I’m here

Would like the runner to be a tad bit lower coming out the blocks but very nice

Can’t lie, I’m a thrower that decided to try out in the 100m and I ran a 12 flat (which is 3rd on my team) so ig I’m on a 4x1 team now💀

I'm confused so you put your right leg in front

Block distance based on foot length is a stupid, lazy way to setup. It should be based on leg length. Check out athlete x on YouTube for a good way to setup

I’m smaller than that guy and my left block is at the very back
