I literally thought of conditioning the moment I saw this video! After being an "academic" most of my life, I can speak from experience that it does not matter whether you are good or not so great at academics. I didn’t finish college and I’ve been feeling bad about it recently. But the thing is.. I always found a job and after much experience, I landed a position im happy with. I’d go back to school if I was determined to start a new career path that requires the right degree (like physical therapy). Thank you for this video! I feel so much better. ❤️

I needed this video, ive been feeling so lost since i graduated. Growing up all ive ever truly cared about was art and clothes, i set out to be a fashion designer and stylist. Watching this video helped me realize that to do that i need to EXPERIENCE and not go to college.

Hi Eric... just recently I bumped into you. I love your videos. This topic is so relevant for my daughter, she is diagnosed as dyslexic ADHD and mild CP. As a mother I feel she must be doing what she loves to do. Our system in India does not allow that. I truly believe that she will be somebody great, in future. She is in her 10th grade writing the board exams slowly 2 or 1 subject at a time so she will be able to complete at her pace. I will certainly show this to her. Thank you so much...God bless!

I’ve always known that going to college was not for me but I always felt like I needed further schooling in order to be successful. Thank you for this video Eric because I know that I want to help people and build them up but there’s no “professional schooling” to do that but I know I don’t need school to do what I want to do. I really feel involved in this topic. I finished high school and I'm in that period of deciding what to do with my life. Dance is my purpose and I want it to be my life. I've been dealing with people/ family telling me I should also study something (you know the deal). We don't really have college in Italy, just university (basically you just go to class but you still keep your "normal life". After thinking a lot about it, I convinced myself to study communication, because it's a topic I think I'm interested in. But thank you so much for this video, it helped a lot.

100 percent agree. College is great for people who want to get jobs and all. I had to attend college because without a degree I'm not good enough according to society. I wish I had that mindset when I was younger, now I dont regret my decision of attending college bc I had great experiences but I definitely would have prepared to have a trade or certification to fall back on bc the work industry seem not to care about how many degrees one have these days.

I have literally have been having the worst anxiety regarding college to the point where it gets me physically I'll. Coming across this video for me feels like a sign. Bc like Eric mentioned social conditioning. I feel like I'm only school bc others want me to be and I'm scared of what they would think. It's not even what I love. So it's why am I wasting my time?
