I really feel like my husband and I have unconditional love. We have been through so much in 23 years and I love him and am attracted to him more everyday. He really is one of a kind. I'm honestly not attracted to other men at all. I've had serious things happen to me since I was 5 by every man I knew. He's the one who saved me and has protected me and works to take care of me and now our kids. He's just amazing. I can tell him anything and he can tell me anything and we get through it together. Being in a previous relationship for 8 years, I learned the utmost hard way that "Unconditional" is an oversimplified state of "Conditional" in relationships. Any kind of "unconditional love" is oftentimes very much "conditional". You learn through experience that these "conditions" are based on needs, wants, values, boundaries, experiences and thought processes of each party. This includes pets, domestic or wild, they will give you affection and treatment based on how well you treat them, some animals literally cannot tell the difference, either instinctually or raised.
