I know Red Robin is more of a reference to Kingdom Come but I don’t like how Jason becoming Red Robin feels more like a reference to Countdown to Final Crisis.

Honestly they should've just made a direct sequel to "Under the Red Hood" instead of... whatever this was. Especially with the scene between Bruce and Clark at the end of this one, dropping sequel bait that they'd find and help Jason *together*. Like, all the pieces are there, just do it already. I'd fucking kill to have Superman team up with Batman to help Jason, because someone like Clark is exactly who Jason needs. Plus we never got the Batman counterpart to "Batman and Superman: Apocalypse". In that movie we see Batman help Supergirl, I'd love a sequel/counterpart that focuses on the opposite, Superman helping Robin, especially this Robin. The original movie never even got an actual ending and it deserves one
