The best way to make sales without being annoying

You're at the bus stop. Headphones in. World out.
Suddenly a stranger with a parrot on their shoulder taps you on the shoulder.
They look like they've just stepped out of a Pirates of the Caribbean movie or a very extravagant bird-themed party.
Instead of speaking, they hand you a dirty scroll:
"Pirate Speak 101 – $50 to talk like a true windchaser!"
Are you tempted?
Probably not.
Now, imagine the same situation...
But they do the normal, sane thing and say "Hi" instead and proceed to charm you with tales of high seas and treasure hunts, all in fluent Pirate-speak.
The parrot even squawks a few convincing endorsements.
Do you agree to their offer?
Way more likely.
We all have days we just want to relax and not buy new things, no matter how cool…
Selling someone at the wrong time can make you the villain… even if you're selling the most helpful product ever.
Sales happen in conversations.
So, if you have something to sell. Actually talk to people.
This happens in:

• Calls
• DMs
(DMs are the most important)
Conversations build connections.
Connections build trust.
People don't like being sold to but they love buying from people they trust.
