Electric Fuel Pump Install in A Bug

This video shows how I install an electric fuel pump in a Type 1 VW Bug. We have to address a few additional items as well, (clogged stock fuel line, and wiring) but nothing you may not have done before. The advantage of an electric fuel pump is a consistent psi, the elimination of the mechanical pump on the engine (though minimal it's still parasitic drag), and the clean aesthetic of losing all those additional hoses on your engine.

Another great video! Funny how Carter will have this same pump assembly offered by many vendors. I have the same setup in the back of my 69 BMW (dual sidedraft carbs), but I added an enertia (accident) switch and relay.
