I absolutely agree. I like spacers on everything as well. I'll even run them on a single plane for the added volume. As for EFI I like it but for my builds I'll stick with the carburetor(s). They just work and if you tune them right you can get just as good fuel economy as EFI and usually a little more power.

Good explanation thanks✊ i have heard a spacer can also be used as a bit of a heat insulator to cool the carb a little. The material used to make the spacer changes the insulating effect.

Agreed 💯!! All of my Mopars I owned ran soooo much better with spacers than without! Even when we raced circle track my wife's cousin who build our engine said there a must!! I'm pretty sure he also said they help against vapor lock keeping the fuel cooler when being sprayed. 🙂 Another informative video...thx

I’m having a 390 stroker built from my 318 magnum. I have the same intake as you. Is there a specific brand of spacer I should buy? And which ones should I stay away from? I’m going to run a Holley sniper system.

great video, I hope this applies to my 355 sbc, I have an iron quadrajet intake and currently running the quadrajet carb, but I want to try a holley 750 double pumper and so I have the adapter which is 3/4 high and open
