THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THIS‼️I asked the questions exactly the way you explained (I was on the phone) but none-the-less, I CLOSED THE DEAL WITH MY FIRST CLIENT‼️ I’m over the moon because I always (25 years) used someone else to close deals because I sucked at it. Thank you fo r continued advice. I am new to sales. I worked in the Legal field for my entire adult life and began my current position just over a year ago. Your advice has assisted in so many ways in learning what my clients' specific needs are, and how to solve their problems. Keeping the communication open where they can advise me of what they are looking for, their pain points, what their ultimate goal/picture for a better future looks like for them, then providing them with a solution if my solution fits their needs.
I have learned a lot over the past year, but find your advice keeps it simple, keeps me from looking like a "Hard Sales" person, but a problem solver for their specific needs. It makes a huge difference in how you present to potential clients, and how much more at ease they feel when you are offering a way to solve their problem and help them to build a more successful, stress free future.

This reminds me of a meeting I had with a sales rep last year, the guy talked for almost an hour about how great his product is and all the magical things that product can do for us without asking a single question, I refused he's proposal because I thought "how can he understand our needs if he's talking more than listening "
