Little league drama

Well here is some LL baseball drama. Nice triple from Kyler, HR taken away. After the coach got ejected parents decided to pull their kids off the field. Nice example to set, right? There was some back story before this play, the coach kept questioning the umpire trying to have a pissing contest. On the flip side we won, the score was 6-1 when this unfolded.

Those women's shrill voices screaming brought back all kinds of memories from when my sons played little league. I used to watch from the outfield so I didn't have to listen to Baseball moms who didn't know anything about the game.

We have a sign posted at our little league games. It says, "These are kids. Umpires make mistakes. Coaches are volunteers." It's awesome!

Little League is probably the most difficult sport to watch. From the parents thinking they have the next MLB legend to 14 year old kids who are 5 feet tall and weigh 100 pounds who cant hit a ball and drops any ball that comes their way

I umpired Little League games when I was in Junior High. You could never make both sides happy. Then I grew up and became a cop. Apparently, I didn't learn my lesson.
