hi Professor. Question: after setting up those A and AAAA records for a new host : should it be pingable by name from ANY computer in the zone or just under cmd on the primary DNS server? This seems to be my issue: new host is pingable by name but only on primary DNS while not pingable from any other client PC . It is pingable from any client(s) but only when using ip address-either ip4 or ip6, not the name. Any ideas? (btw: nslookup works correctly on any PC in the zone for that new A host and I have disabled windows firewalls)
