How to Install and Configure DNS Server | DNS Server Configuration | Windows Server 2019

In this video, we will see how to install and configure DNS server in Windows Server 2019. We'll walk you through step-by-step instructions on how to install and configure a DNS server on a Windows Server 2019 server. This video is perfect for beginners who are looking to get started with DNS server administration. Here we are installing and configuring DNS server role in a standalone machine which is a member of workgroup. To install and configure DNS server role, first we will assign manual or static IP address to the system then we will install DNS server role in that machine or system and finally we will make this DNS server functional by configuring DNS service in the system.
During configuration, we will also understand concepts of different DNS zones like forward lookup zone, reverse lookup zone, primary zone, secondary zone, stub zone and active directory integrated zone.
at the end we will verify and test the DNS server configuration using nslookup and ping utilities.
