How to move blend file from one computer to another and also keep textures and materials intact.
File- External Data- Pack all Into Blend
To move a Blender file and all its associated materials and textures to another computer, follow these steps:
In Blender, go to File - External Data - Pack All Into .blend. This will pack all the materials and textures used in the file into the .blend file itself.
Save the file and copy it to a USB drive or other external storage device.
Transfer the USB drive or external storage device to the new computer.
Open Blender on the new computer and go to File - Open. Navigate to the location of the saved .blend file and open it.
If prompted, choose to "unpack" the file so that the materials and textures are saved in a separate folder alongside the .blend file.
If the materials and textures are not automatically loaded, go to File - External Data - Find Missing Files. Blender will search for and locate any missing files.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully move a Blender file and all its associated materials and textures to another computer.
