So I used a program to build this character for a game and I had textures when I was creating it and the textures show up in the folder but it says no files to unpack

what if I have curves in the blender scene, will this export too? How do you export bezier or poly curves out of blender for use into other 3d packages like maya?

You're not converting a blend file to fbx you're exporting a model from blender as fbx, two completely different things.

For the love of God, why not have link option of .fbx to blender? This really baffles me as blender comes with so many advanced features.
