Thanks Tayson. I’m finally getting out this weekend. Lows in hi 20’s, low 50’s during the day. Trying to dial in my layers. Have a dragonwool hoodie, the Ventus and a Loftek also have merino baselayers. Watching overall weight because I wear XXL’s. Pack is the Shadowlight 60L.

I wear a thin Merino Wool base layer under my Lofttek jacket and it works perfectly. I cannot believe how warm that jacket is for being so light weight. If I wear a regular teeshirt under it my arms sweat with any activity, but I don't get cold. I am also excited to hear about OV Wool clothing.

Happy to see OV wool coming! I’ve been wool obsessed since my first winter pedicabing a dozen years ago. Backpacking, cycling, travel of any kind, wool wins. Any estimates on next launch? Maybe that green down jacket soon? Pants? Keep it up OV!

Heading out after tomorrow in central Wisconsin to snowshoe and hammock camp for 4 nights. Temps : minus 15 to 25 F. Looks like you had fun. Jealous of the super deep snow.
