I have an SUV tent that attaches to the rear of my SUV. I use it for cooking, hanging out, etc. If I had a Buddy heater, I would use it to heat that space. I have a CO2 monitor, so I can always know the air is safe.

Question: I’m an ex-archaeologist who did this kind of stuff for a living, but in the jungle. After watching you and a couple others, I’m most curious about the pants. What brand/kind of pants are you all finding best? I’ve noticed winter camping here in the north that my normal cotton pants (basic jungle cargo or dungarees) doesn’t work with constant snow, mud, dampness. Recommendations?

An alternative I LOVE and can be easier for keeping warm is having a baby nalgene with warm to hot water and can fit in most jackets and in between your legs in the sleeping bag while you sleep!

Is that a buddy heater? . I know they are rated indoors. But do you crack your car windows just in Incase?. I was wanting to get a heater like that for my car camping. They say you don't have to worry about carbon monoxide poisoning, provided the heater works properly.

Zippo, like Zippo lighters, makes a hand warmers.. I went to the museum not long ago and remember seeing them in the shop.. I wondered if they might be better than the hand warmers? Cause you don’t have to worry about disposal.
