Idk how people can say casca enjoyed the things griffith did to her. It’s sick, this is literally trauma from being assaulted and everything else she’s been through.

I think this is even a more devastating situation for Guts compared to if Casca really died during the Eclipse. Casca is there, but it's an empty shell. She is in no mental state to remember anything regarding the adventures she and Guts endured. On top of that Casca has the mental state of a little girl. Seeing your loved one like this would break any person. I think death would have been an easier thing to process for Guts. Seeing your girl, but knowing she is not there, is a feeling I would not want to experience. You will get false hope every time and reality will beat you to your knees.

I haven’t even watch berserk but from the little research i found, it seems like Griffith has always despise guts and Casca being together. It was like he just wanted them to suffer because he has suffered. And if you think about it, you can’t really get angry at Casca. She was raped by the guy who saved her from being assaulted by another man. That alone can traumatize anybody. And for Guts to see his girlfriend, being completely broken, it was just too much for him. I don’t blame him for having a mental breakdown. Guts legit never deserved any of this to happen to him.😢

I think Griffith/Femto is the most evilest anime villian ever, he sacrificed his entire army just to fullfil his dream. The sacrifice made Guts lost his right arm left eye, his friends, and casca's memories. I just wanted to kill GRIFFITH!!

This is probably one of the most beautifully depressing scenes ive witnessed- the way he goes against his own instincts and takes off running is heart wrenching because i see it as him hoping that if he runs far enough he will escape the reality his Casca and group is gone- just his body language screams denial and absolute devastation

Griffith saw what Guts did out his sheer love for his friend, killing hundreds of men, staying by Griffith's side and taking care of him even after Griffith's torture. And this is how Griffith repaid Guts... Because of Griffith, Guts is cursed to live a life a thousand times worse than the one Griffith lived.
