Raw Egg Macro Time Lapse - Watch this time lapse video to see what happens to a couple of raw eggs over the course of 7 days both in close-up and macro. This was a short one, it took 7.25 days (174 hours) to record and I captured about 7000 photos in total. The top and the bottom angle cameras were running simultaneously, while in order to record the time lapse in macro I had to film another egg separately.

Interesting egg fun fact: Why do we normally eat chicken and not duck or turkey eggs? Chickens lay more eggs, they need less nesting space, and they don’t have the strong mothering instincts of turkeys and ducks, which makes egg collection easier.

It's nice to see an egg time lapse without maggots for once. Not that maggots aren't fun, it's just cool to see what it does on its own.

Egg really went "If no one's cooking me then I'm gonna cook myself."

I’d like to think that you have like 30 different things sitting in your home for different purposes

The circular patterns the whites formed were pretty

Its funny how after a few days the yolk starts bubbling. The way it hardens is actually pretty satisfying.. What actually surprised me is that the egg hardened completely.. such a wonderful experience!!

The little spiral rounds of clear egg at the end was beautiful.

This might sound funny, but it would be interesting to see a time lapse of thick paint drying

when you macro‘d in on the egg whites and they formed little circles, I legit thought I had misclicked for a second and was watching some kind of LEGO stop motion mix thing XD this was super interesting! I never would have thought the egg yolks rise like that, they almost looked square!

I think a cool idea would be to fill up a sealable jar with some pond or creek water and time lapsing it to see what kind of life pops up

Conchoidal fractures and forms that really resemble spheroidal weathering... I wonder why exactly that happens. So curious and odd!
