Maggots in Macro - Fried Egg Time Lapse 4K

This video shows the decomposition process of two sunny side up fried eggs over the course of 13 days.
At first the eggs only changed color and started to dry out but soon also some spots of mold appeared on the surface. After that it didn't take long until the flies insects and maggots also found their way onto the eggs and their number grew exponentially. I managed to get some extreme close up macro shots of the maggots and the flies. I hope you like them :)

I love how looking at food rot and decompose is very disgusting but also sometimes fascinating, but for the maggots and flies it it like a paradise and a utopia of food and peace where species just gorge themselves and just do what they are meant to do in nature. The music is what gives me this thought. Thank you for spending the time to show us people whom are interested to learning how nature gets rid of stuff naturally in this world.

Thank you for making this the edges of the fried eggs looked like golden cliffsides of sugar glass and the maggots close up looked like great beasts making their way across a vast plain. I just find maggots beautiful the way they move is so interesting to look at and it's inspiring how they create the foundation for their future off of what others have left behind.

Both eggs look quite different from each other, for example The left egg got mouldy quicker than the right. And the right egg turned a white colour and not many flies or maggots picked on it. Anyways another great vid
