2020 BAS Honours Lecture Series: 13 Nisha van der Hoven

The "BAS Honours Lecture Series: Project Objectives and Design Methodology" ran from July to October 2020 and was held online for a wider audience of students and professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. It featured impressions and insights from architects, landscape architects, design engineers and urbanists. The focus of the lecture series was primarily on the design methodologies applied by professionals in different fields, and working in varying scales of projects/research, in the built environment. A secondary theme focussed on the ‘nature of universities’ and the future of education and research in the higher education sector. The aim was to provide a framework for discussion on the future of the university and its architecture, to enable improved teaching, learning and knowledge exchange.
