Could you even imagine a Hans Zimmer and Tuomas colaboration? Two all time great composers, I cant even imagine the creative energy from that team up.

The first time I met Tuomas was in 2008, it was May, I remember it was the first time they went to Mexico with Annette. I remember him with his white blazer coming out of this tiny holiday inn express, all smiles with a cigarette in his hand and only too happy to talk to me and my 5 friends. He was so sweet and seemed very comfortable with us approaching him to ask for pictures, etc, got to talk about food, drink, gave him some presents, I remember I had a black scarf for him, you know, it was just lovely. I got other chances to meet him along the years but never as casual very relaxed as that time. I met Kai about 10 years go thanks to Wintersun as I managed the fan club, and we have formed a wonderful friendship along the years, I’ve been very lucky to be invited backstage and only recently got to see him again and is was just lovely. I’m glad I have so many memories and always positive ones of meeting everyone really, current members, past members, always a joy to meet you all.❤

I‘m a hardcore Nightwish fan since 17 years now! They are my gods!!! But sadly I haven’t seen them live so far because of massive mental health issues. But I hope that I can finally see them when they start touring again!

I am always tongue-tied if I meet someone I admire, so I sympathise with all people who have felt that! There are questions I would love to ask Tuomas, but realistically I'd stutter kiitos then smile and nod nervously.

I met the whole band in 2018 at Ilosaarirock festival in Finland. They were giving autographs there and that was a moment I knew if I wouldn't go there I would never get a chance to meet them again. So I went and waited a long time, but it was absolutely worth it. I was sooo nervous (and a bit drunk too lol) so when I finally met Tuomas I just said "kiitos kaikesta" ("thank you for everything"), asked if I could hug him and we hugged quickly. He seemed warm, sweet and polite just as I had imagined. Though that moment was over in a second, I cherish that forever and I'm so thankful my dream came true after waiting my whole life.

Hmm I don't consider myself a worshipping fan. I'm just pretty sure Tuomas is one of the greatest composers of our time and humans will listen to the music of Nightwish for as long as they exist and are able to listen to music. If I would see him, I would step aside because he doensn't know me. But if he would say anything to me by himself I would thank him for the music I love so dearly and that it made my life so much happier.

Wow! Nice segment, haha. I personally don't agree with the whole "worship" thing, but I can definitely understand the admiration and respect people have for those with a big gift. And to be friends with some of them, along with fans? That's a precious thing. It just shows you how connected we are at that level.

If you talk with people listening to NW they all use the same phrases and words: "magic, masterpieces, takes me to another planet, touches my soul..." I'm amazed by the fact that NW connects every single one of us through their music by giving us the gift of experiencing all these emotions. We are really one. We are all connected, because you feel the same way as I do when listening to these works of art. And this is pure magic.
