I love that Nightwish are exploring topics like this, there's so much music that use the same tired themes and trends. When something blows up you get countless other bands starting to do the same thing that's like fast food music, it doesn't really 'nourish' me anymore. It's such a breath of fresh air to see something so different and it's told in a way that makes me ponder things beyond the songs. This is what i've been waiting to hear again. Thanks Nightwish for never following, and always putting the music first.

I'm 32 years old from Sweden. I started playing piano and compose music when I was 16 BECAUSE I was inspired by Tuomas melodies in his Nightwish songs. I 100% understand the sensation of experiencing a song that just utterly melts you. I also feel that when I'm writing something special. Music became my full-time job in 2015 and it would not have happened unless I experienced that through his music in my childhood and formative years. Now my music has been heard over 100 million times all around the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I truly love the new album. Thank for your inspiring me to find my own purpose in writing magical melodies.

I found Nightwish by music reactions starting in 2019 (Youtube). Inspiration is born from Tuomas because he understands there is a universal 'reason & rhyme' that binds all things. His is the heart of a true poet, and he's tapped into this unseen but felt force. Those that have come to know Nightwish, understand this concept at a deeper level.

Just kuuntelin uusinta kappaletta lauantaina kotimatkalla, kello huiteli puoltayötä ja koska asutaan reilusti napapiirin pohjoispuolella, niin aurinko helotti pilvettömältä taivaalta.
Piti oikein pysähtyä, sammuttaa auto ja kuunnella ympäröivää luontoa. Samalla pohtien juuri kuulemani taideteosta ja että miten voikin tehdä lähtemättömän vaikutuksen sellainen asia jonka jo tiedän, kun se asia on puettu tällaiseen muotoon.

Ja se musiikki oli kuin osa sitä karun kaunista Ylä-Lapin luontoa, mitä saan onnekseni tarkkailla joka päivä.

To name some of the songs that always make me cry: The intro of "The Greates Show on Earth" when Troy plays his pipes, "Moors" and "Ad Astra" from "All the Works of Nature Which Adorn the World". Also, "Beauty of the Beast" or Floor's finale in "Shoemaker". And to not only name Nightwish songs, I also get this feeling when I listen to the score of Gladiator, "Honor Him" and "Now we are Free" and other film scores, or epic songs by Two Steps From Hell.
Some days ago, I visited the Natural History Museum in London again. While I was walking through the museum, I listened to the two latest Nightwish albums. I am always overwhelmed by a feeling of awe listening to the songs that are inspired by nature, evolution, and scientists while walking through my favourite museum, also called the "Cathedral of Nature" 💚 Thank you Nightwish for this experience!
