all i really care about is just adding a new game option and optimization. DD1 had a new game option after you already had a save.

Performance for me. Game played great for the first couple hours.

Then I decided to go to the main city and I got Blighttown flashbacks. It’s *bad*.

Honestly, since BG3, the first question you should be asking devs and publishers whenever you get any sort of "review copy" is "does your game have microtransactions, " and if you get anything other than a straight "no microtransactions in this game" from the devs or publishers, it should be in your prerelease review. in BOLD RED HIGHLIGHTS.

Some of the items in the shop I agree are pointless to have, but what I think some people don't know is that DD1 actually also had the rift crystal micro transactions when the BB isles dlc came out cause so much of the stuff was locked needing RC to unveil the hidden items.

I have a 3060ti and a ryzen 5600 and I still couldn't get above 20 fps in cities on low, no ray tracing and dlss. I had 3 crashes in the hour of playing I did before I refunded.

Microtransaction Drama, Capcom have been doing this for years and yet NOW everyone gets butthurt?

Its not the transactions content, its that they exist to normalize it for when it becomes necessary.

How is there no day one patch notes? Did they stop development as soon as they went Gold?

I think what really bothers me about this is that someone called it "pay-to-win" and everyone just joined the hate train, without thinking about it. It's not even pay-to-win and the items are just deluxe edition content. It's not required to buy these things at all and you can easily get them ingame. It's super sad that people can not be constructive anymore and use the review sections of many games to release anger :/ It's really a shame-

You kinda make it seem like the reason ppl are leaving negative reviews is only because of the ridiculous micro-transactions, but the game's optimization is abysmal. You'll be lucky get to 30fps in big towns if you have the recommended system specs.

I’m pissed you only get 1 save data per profile me and my roommate can’t both play like wtf

Microtransactions are fine for me as they’re at least optional. But not being able to create multiple save files? That’s a major kick in the balls for me

Monster Hunter World which is made by the same company has over $500 in dlc and somehow we're raging over DD2 dlc?

I hope they add the ability to turn off film grain and motion blur

The portcrystal feels like someone higher up saw limited fast travel as a monetization opportunity, shoved it at the game and hideaki went "you can have ONE"

I hate MTX as much as the next person, but the amount of hate being directed at this game in particular is wildly disproportionate compared to all the recent games that intentionally gut the game to push them. Add on the fact that a lot of people are straight up lying about them, saying you have to pay for any of them, and acting like they're not available in game otherwise (They are... they all are... easily), either through sheer ignorance, or through some disgusting desire just to mislead people.

Ubisoft, Activision and EA all put out nearly every single game they release with predatory microtransactions and no one bats an eye. Dragon's Dogma 2 includes them but DOESN'T gut the game in the process, and it suddenly gets shit all over. I agree that I'd rather them not be there at all, but they are so non-intrusive to the game that you can't even access the menu in game beyond the title screen.

There are legitimate reasons to critique the game, like the abysmal performance, so I'm not sure why people feel the need to lie or spread misinformation instead. This is one of the least intrusive inclusions of MTX I've seen in recent history, and yet somehow it is receiving way more hate than any other game for it.

I think Capcom has some sort of mandatory MTX quota

every capcom game does this. its weird and stupid. but it literally doesnt affect anything. you can play the game forgetting the mtx exist and its the same. and for me atleast, the performance has been really good on my pc. but i hope they fix it for the people having issues

The main issue to address here is the poor optimization when playing the game resulting in crashes and unplayable performance.
